Allyson + Jacob

It was a gorgeous day on December 21st, 2019. I drove out to the special spot that Jacob’s late grandmother had shown him. A quiet peaceful nature preserve where she spent a lot of her time. There were roses spread on the deck, and photos from Allyson and Jacobs past hanging by ribbon. It was so romantic. Not to long after I arrived, along came Allyson’s family, as well as Jacobs and one very special guest; Allyson’s best friend from college that she hadn’t seen in about two years. They hid in the trees until Allyson and Jacob pulled up. I greeted them and the first words out of Allyson’s mouth was “this is weird” and I knew then she knew something was up. He led her to the deck, they looked at the photos together, and Jacob then got down on one knee.

SHE SAID YES!

Immediately there was a sigh of relief across Jacob’s face, he was SO nervous. Their friends and family came out and gave them both big hugs. There were few dry eyes and so many smiles. Jacob and Allyson have been together since high school; maybe even middle school. I had the pleasure of knowing them both throughout school and I am so happy they have decided to spend forever together. Congrats you two!!!
