Engagement session at Pickett State Park / Taylor + Elijah / Kentucky Wedding Photographer

I woke up yesterday with the blues because outside my window, it was pouring. I was afraid that we would have to reschedule AGAIN due to rain. I immediately checked the forecast for Pickett State Park and there was a 15% chance window between 3-6pm. I texted Taylor and we decided to bump our time to ensure we didn't get rained out! I always love the drive to Pickett, it's so curvy but everything is always so green and it's beautiful. The day was beautiful, the sun danced in and out of the clouds all afternoon.. we couldn't have asked for better weather.

I first met Taylor and Elijah back in 2016, for a couples session. Along with their two friends, we went to this beautiful area close to their home which included a swing bridge, a meadow, and a creek area. It was gorgeous that day as well and I remember having so much fun laughing with them and Taylor's momma. But this year, we met for their ENGAGEMENT SESSION! It's so awesome to watch couples grow together and that they keep me around for these milestones. I am so excited for their Fall wedding. Also, we should all give them a HUGE congratulations because they just bought their FIRST HOME!

There was this flock of geese that kept FOLLOWING US and then hissing at us!!!! It was pretty scary, I am not going to lie. HAHAHAH. The babies were so cute though!

I hope you guys enjoy my personal favorites from their engagement session!
