Kentucky Boudoir Photography / Alexandria - Client Interview
As I'm sure you have seen on instagram or Facebook, I recently opened a STUDIO! This has been the craziest, most stressful, yet exciting and rewarding milestone for my business. It's something I've been working towards since I first began this photography biz and now it's a dream come true! You may also know that I have a crazy fierce passion for helping every day women (like myself) learn to love and accept themselves just the way they are despite the crazy beauty standards society has placed on us still in 2018. I know, without a doubt, that every piece of you, every part you love about yourself, hate, hide, show-off, every flaw, every stretch mark, every freckle, and every scar.. is just a teensy piece of the perfectly imperfect you. You are a masterpiece and you deserve to be celebrated and loved by yourself to the fullest extent.
My goal is to show you just how beautiful you are, and to help you see yourself in a new positive light.
My gorgeous best friend was the first lady I had the pleasure of photographing on my first day working in the studio. This was actually her second boudoir shoot so she has a few words for all of you ladies questioning or going back and forth on whether or not you should do it.
- How did you feel in the days leading up to your session?
So excited! I had so much fun planning my outfits and accessories. It was fun to try on lingerie and look for things I typically don’t shop for.
-What was the actual session experience like for you? Were you nervous? How did you feel while being photographed?
Taylor made me feel comfortable and confident. She gave me direction but let me pose in ways I felt fiercest. We listened to music and I felt like I was in a music video for my favorite songs.
-Did having your boudoir photos taken change the way you see yourself?
The photos have given me such a confidence boost! I can look at the photos and think “wow, that’s me!” I feel like a model every time I look at them.
-Would you recommend other ladies to complete the boudoir experience?
Absolutely, boudoir is for any and everyone. I strongly recommend anyone who’s interested to give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
